Everything we announced last week

Published 11 months ago • 2 min read

Hey Reader,

At Craft + Commerce last week, we announced four groundbreaking new tools and features for ConvertKit that I’m really excited about.

These are going to make it so much easier to grow your audience and increase your income as a creator.

1. Creator Network

Grow your audience the fast way.

Collaboration is the key to success for creators. What was once a single player activity is now multiplayer. You don’t have to do this alone anymore. With the Creator Network, you can recommend and be recommended by other creators to grow your newsletter faster.

When the people you partner with gain new subscribers, so do you! That means if they go viral, you get more subscribers.

Creators are already seeing incredible results. In a month, they’re gaining as many subscribers as they might have gotten in a year.

2. Sparkloop Acquisition / Paid Recommendations

At Craft + Commerce last week, we announced that ConvertKit has acquired SparkLoop.

SparkLoop is the #1 newsletter growth platform, and this acquisition brings Paid Recommendations to the Creator Network.

This acquisition is a game changer for the creator economy, because it gives you access to make a living in a whole new way.

Whether you want to earn more or spend to grow faster, both features are live today.

Oh, and sponsors can be on any platform, because we’re building an open marketplace. It’s not just creators on ConvertKit sponsoring and earning from other creators on ConvertKit; any creator using any ESP can earn.

This means you can recommend your favorite big brands like Market Beat or The Hustle, or 1440. Accept the ones that pay the best.

3. Programmatic Ads

Last year, we announced the Sponsor Network and since then we’ve paid out over $1.3 million to creators.

At the time, we were only able to work with creators who had over 10,000 subscribers because there was more demand than we could accommodate.

But we’ve recently partnered with LiveIntent to offer programmatic advertising.

This means we’ll soon be able to offer sponsorship placement with no minimum audience size.

  • You’re guaranteed a fill rate with trusted brands.
  • You can display ads in your email that are personalized to each subscriber.

Stay tuned for programmatic ads in the near future!

4. Creator Marketplace

If you use ConvertKit, you’ve probably spent some time customizing your landing pages, product pages, emails, and automations.

Now, you can share everything you make inside ConvertKit. It’s easy to create a share link with any landing page, visual automation, or email template you’ve built on ConvertKit—and anyone can seamlessly add them to their account.

But not only can you share these templates, we’re making it so you can sell them.

That’s the Creator Marketplace. It brings yet another way you can monetize your creativity through the power of community.

Stay tuned for the Creator Marketplace—coming soon!
